About the New Benidorm App - Experience Benidorm
After more than 12 years of running one of Benidorm's busiest restaurants, one gets a feel for the wants, needs, likes and dislikes of both tourists and residents alike.
Among the most popular questions begin with Where can I? Why don’t they? What time is? How do I? and Who is?
Those questions resonate with me because, many years ago, my wife Linda and I answered those questions when we built an online search engine dedicated to people who wanted to find something specific going on or being served in pubs and bars across London and the UK.
Our client list then included Fullers, Greene King, Youngs, NovusLeisure, Intertain, Stonegate, Mitchells and Butlers, Jamies Bars and numerous independents from across the leisure industry. As early adopters of this relatively new technology, it was an incredibly exciting 14-year journey of learning for both of us.
Fast forward over 20 years and I find myself in the same position but, this time, with much more knowledge and experience of the industry in addition to the advantage of better and faster technology.
All of the information about Benidorm you could possibly want, can be found on the Internet, at tourist information centres, in newspapers and by word of mouth. The problem is that this information is scattered across the internet, much of it is out of date, and the specific thing you want, can be difficult and time consuming to find, so much so that many of you will give up looking and lose out on what Benidorm has to offer and some really enjoyable experiences.
Hopefully, not any more.
Having been forced to close our restaurant in March 2020 due to the Government’s lockdown policy, I decided to revisit the feasability of building an app where all the information about Benidorm that you can possibly want to know can be quickly and easily accessed.
Since the end of April that year, myself and my daughter have been tirelessly working with a team of developers – the same team that built and developed our previous business – to bring you the experiencebenidorm app which will, eventually, collate and index anything and everything Benidorm has to offer you, and, deliver it to your phone in a simple, easy to use format so that all of your where, why, what, how and who questions can be answered in a matter of seconds.
